LAURE DE SAGAZAN

Laure de Sagazan is a Parisian bridal designer who creates stunning bohemian inspired wedding dresses. With an unpolished elegance to her collection, Laure brings a breath of fresh air to the bridal industry.

Coming up with a fashion concept might be a cliche, but the online presence of Laure de Sagazan's collections had one thing missing: you couldn't pre-book a dress, which was the main problem I was trying to solve when I did this concept back in 2015. When looking for the perfect dress, people tend to browse various print magazines and catalogues, which is why I chose a layout that resembles a print magazine.

Since every wedding dress has its own story told through big images intertwined with description texts, collection pages might get very long, which is why I created a button that allows the users to see an overview of the items in a certain collection and then pick the one they want to see without having to scroll through all the contents. When you're looking online for a wedding dress, that very special, (hopefully) once in a lifetime garment, you need to know that you're going to be able to see yourself wearing it, to try it on in the physical shop. Given the option to pre-book a dress is the simplest way to make this happen.
