After living for 10 years in Rotterdam, my dear sister decided to move to Kenya with her husband and their 3 children where she started a fashion brand in Nairobi called MOYO. In Swahili MOYO means 'heart/soul'. Why MOYO? "Because we like to pour our hearts in both people and products, making sure the workers’ wages are fair and the conditions are great. All items use pure, up-cycled fabrics left over from big fashion houses and the local African print cotton. We want to produce and buy everything locally to stimulate job opportunities and promote craftsmanship in Kenyan hands."
